Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic nominee for New York City mayor, has rocketed past his rivals in fundraising, bringing in a little more than $1 million in recent weeks, according to new campaign reports filed Friday.

Mamdani raised $816,000 during the prior reporting period from June 25 to July 11, while Mayor Eric Adams raised $1.5 million, driven largely by donations from the real estate world. Cuomo raised just $2,400, although his campaign said it was not soliciting donations for the bulk of that period.
