Britain's King Charles said he and Queen Camilla were "appalled and saddened" by the shooting targeting Jewish people at a Chanukah celebration at Sydney's Bondi Beach on Sunday, which claimed the lives of at least 11 people and left dozens wounded.

King Charles and Queen Camilla have been busy as of late, from the king driving a train (yes, really) to the queen wearing an $11 million tiara (yes, also really). And on Wednesday, the monarch stepped out again,

King Charles and Queen Camilla hosted a Christmas party in London at Clarence House and displayed photos with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

Upon the Queen Mother’s death in 2002, the house became then-Prince Charles’s to inhabit. While he and Camilla put their own touch on the place to the tune of $7 million in public funds, per Vanity Fair, they preserved the “arrangement of the rooms and the groupings of their contents” from Elizabeth’s time there, the RCT notes.
