Katherine Legge became the first woman to race in the NASCAR Cup Series race since 2018 on Sunday at Phoenix Raceway.

Katherine Legge's otherwise quiet NASCAR Cup Series debut took a turn on lap 216 of Sunday's Shriners Children's 500 at Phoenix. Legge was running in 28th-place when she got loose on the exit of Turn 2.

After building up an extensive motorsports resume, Katherine Legge will make her NASCAR Cup Series debut at Phoenix.
